Reviews

We always have a great time here. The owners are very welcoming and helpful, and it's a great base from which to explore the forest and the local area. The weather was against us this time, but that can't be helped - we've always been lucky in the past. The accommodation works well with small children, even when stuck indoors for a couple of days, and it's always peaceful.

The owner was welcoming and provided good information including about the restaurant in the village which excellent. The bed is comfortable and the shower very good. It is in a quiet setting but only a lovely 15 minute drive through the forest to Fontainebleau and 25 to the railway station for trains to Paris. Ideal.

We stayed with 2 families at the accommodation during a long weekend. We had summer-like weather and the big garden was a great place to spend the evenings, dining and wining out in the sun. In the morning, after a short walk to the amazing bakery in town, we also had our breakfast out in garden, great! The kitchen and its amenities are not new but when faced with an issue of how to turn the oven on, Stephane lives next-door and was quick to help us out.

We had a lovely and relaxed stay at Stephane's place as three families with small children. The bedrooms are comfy and have a bathroom each. Stephane was extremely welcoming and helpful. Lots of toys for the kids - although the stairs are a bit nerve-racking if you have toddlers/very young kids! Thanks Stephane for making us feel so welcome.

Stayed here as 4 adults and two small children, great location for Elephant bouldering area, which is great for kids. After a long drive to Font we really enjoyed the quiet walk into the boulders each day. Our Toddler also loved the walk to boulangerie each morning for his croissant. Hope to return
